NJ 'Hot Shot' Murderess Found Dead In PA Prison Cell 3 Days After Probation Violation Arrest
A New Jersey woman convicted of murder, who admitted to injecting a man with a fatal mix of cocaine and bleach, was found dead in her cell at the State Correctional Institution at Muncy, officials announced.
Lisa Marie Stavish, 41, a Passaic, NJ native, was discovered unresponsive in her cell on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, according to Wendy Nicholas, superintendent of SCI Muncy. Prison staff attempted life-saving measures until emergency responders arrived, but Stavish was pronounced dead at 6:07 a.m.

Next Of Kin Sought For NJ Man Killed In PA Crash: Coroner
The next of kin for a New Jersey man who recently was found dead is being searched for by the Lehigh County Coroners Office according to a release on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Vyacheslav Chornyy, 56, of Hackettstown, NJ, was found dead inside his vehicle parked in the 6000 block of Warden Road, Lowhill Township, Lehigh County, PA, the coroner detailed in the release.
"The cause and manner of death are pending further investigation," the coroner wrote noting that, "There are no suspicious circumstances in this investigation."

New Brunswick Pair Lead High-Speed Pursuit In Stolen Car In PA: Troopers
Two New Jersey men were charged following a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle, according to a Pennsylvania State Police release Daily Voicew received on Monday, Oct. 28.
Luis Peralta, 25, and Alberto Gomez, 29, both of New Brunswick, NJ, were arrested after attempting to evade troopers near mile marker 302 on Interstate 476 South on Thursday, Sept. 26, state police said.
Troopers used a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle, which had exceeded 70 mph. The vehicle was later determined to be stolen, according to state police.

The two men who were shot during a Trump rally in Pennsylvania and left in critical condition have been identified by the Pennsylvania State Police on Sunday evening.
David Dutch, 57 of New Kensington, PA, and James Copenhaver, 74 of Moon Township, PA, have serious injuries following the shooting by Thomas Matthew Crooks at the Trump rally on Saturday, July 13 but were listed in stable condition on Sunday, July 14, state police explained.
