11 People Evacuated In East Orange Three-Alarm Fire
A three-alarm fire in East Orange caused 11 people to be evacuated on the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 7, authorities said. Firefighters responded to 291 Glenwood Ave. at 4:30 p.m. and the fire escalated to three alarms, necessitating additional firefighters to the scene, a spokesperson for the City of East Orange said. A Linden man was killed when his tractor-trailer crashed and exploded in Clifton, authorities said. The truck crashed into a barrier and caught fire on Route 3 West near Valley Road and Grove Street at around 9:07 a.m. on Monday, July 22, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes said in a news release. A library in Montclair had was evacuated late on Sunday, June 30 due to bomb threat targeting multiple locations, police say. At approximately 4 p.m. on June 30, the Montclair Police Department responded to a reported threat that was called in from the public library on 50 South Fullerton St. in Montclair. Bomb Threat By Employee's Ex Clears Teterboro Walmart
A threatening comment from the ex-husband of a store associate cleared the Teterboro Walmart on Tuesday, authorities said. The man had called the Teterboro Landing Walmart shortly before noon June 11, Moonachie Police Lt. Jeff Napolitano said.
