Man, 21, Dies In Motorcycle Crash On I-295 In Central Jersey, Troopers Say
A Millville man was killed when his motorcycle crashed on Interstate 295 in Mercer County, authorities said. John Marion, 21, died in the crash on Wednesday, Nov. 6, a state police spokesperson said. It happened on I-295 North near milepost 65.4 in Hamilton Township at around 11:49 a.m. Investigators said Marion was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle and struck the back of a Mini Cooper. His motorcycle overturned and he was ejected. Marion was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were reported in the Mini Cooper. The crash remained under investigation.

Overturned Tractor Trailer Shuts Route 287 In Somerset County
A stretch of Route 287 was closed by an overturned tractor-trailer Thursday evening, Oct. 31 in Somerset County. The NJDOT site shows it happened in the northbound lanes at Exit 12 in Franklin Township. As of 6:50 p.m., all lanes were closed.

Motorcyclist Ejected At Jersey Shore Intersection Dies In Crash, Police Say
A Brick Township man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle at an intersection, authorities said. Horace Giambona, 64, died in the crash on Wednesday, Oct. 23, the Brick Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the wreck at the intersection of Brick and Yorktowne boulevards at around 2:34 p.m. Investigators said Giambona was traveling north on Brick Boulevard and approached the intersection. A Manalapan man was accused of driving with a suspended license during a crash that killed a bicyclist in Holmdel, authorities said. A 58-year-old New Jersey attorney and lobbyist was killed in Nashville, TN on Saturday, Oct. 19 after he was struck by a vehicle, authorities said. Six vehicles crashed on the New Jersey Turnpike in Bordentown Township, causing traffic backups for several miles, officials said. Troopers responded to the crash at 11:26 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, a state police spokesperson said. It happened on the northbound outer highway north of Exit 7 near milepost 54.4. Route 73 To Remain Closed Overnight Following Crash That Downed Power Lines: Police
A portion of Route 73 will remain closed overnight following a crash on Thursday, Sept. 12. The crash involved a vehicle that struck a utility pole in front of the Lukoil at 921 North Route 73 in Mount Laurel around noon, police said. PSE&G was called to the scene as power lines fell, blocking the roadway and Fellowship Road. While no injuries were reported, the road was expected to reopen sometime Friday, Sept. 13.
