Motorcyclist Killed, Dirt Biker Seriously Injured In Garden State Parkway Crash (Update) A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed and a 49-year-old dirt bike operator was seriously injured in a crash Sunday, Sept. 8 on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River, authorities said. Antonio Caprara, 26, of Beachwood, was heading south on the right shoulder while Lenny Ritorto, of Toms River, was heading south on the acceleration lane from the Exit 81 entrance ramp when the two collided near milepost 81.7 around 1 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. 5 Hospitalized In DWI Golf Cart Simulation Crash At Wildwood National Night Out, Police Say Five people were hospitalized in a DWI simulation involving a golf cart operator by a juvenile and an officer at National Night Out in Wildwood on Tuesday, Aug. 6, authorities said. The impaired operator simulation has been running at the annual event for 20 years, Wildwood police said in a news release. Dump Truck Flips Injuring Driver On I-195 (Updated) There was a crash with injuries involving an overturned dump truck on Interstate 195, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12 on I-195 westbound East of Exit 7 in Robbinsville, according to the NJDOT. A dump truck lost directional control, ran off the roadway to the right, struck a tree, and overturned, New Jersey State Police said. The driver of the dump truck was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, State Police said.  The crash remains under investigation.

Woman, 57, Killed In Trenton Crash A 57-year-old woman was killed and three others were hurt in a crash in Trenton, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 8 near the intersection of East State and South Broad streets, according to Trenton police. The victim's name had not been released. All the cars' occupants became trapped after the two-car collision, police said.

The crash occurred before 7 a.m. on Friday, June 7 northbound south of Interchange 8 in East Windsor Township, according to the NJDOT. All traffic was diverted to the northbound inner roadway up to Interchange 7A, 511nj.org reported.
