Troopers were dispatched around 3:32 a.m. to mile marker 31.5 on I-95 South in Philadelphia for a crash involving two overturned vehicles, according to Pennsylvania State Police. While en route, witnesses told troopers that one of the drivers had fled the scene on foot and jumped off the bridge, apparently trying to escape. Central Jersey Motorcyclist Crashes Into Moose, Dies On I-95 In Maine: Troopers A Princeton man was killed when his motorcycle struck a moose on Interstate 95 in northern Maine, authorities said. Anand Sreedharan, 50, died in the crash on Monday, Sept. 30, Maine State Police said in a news release on Wednesday, Oct. 2. It happened on I-95 South near milepost 240 in an unincorporated area about five miles south of the town of Medway. Investigators said the moose crossed into Sreedharan's lane and was hit by the motorcycle. Sreedharan was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. Michael Veisz, 40, died in the crash on Interstate 95 North in East Brunswick on Friday, Aug. 23, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene near milepost 81.2 at around 5:02 a.m. Investigators said a Chevrolet Impala driven by Veisz was in a single-car crash on the southbound inner side of the turnpike.
