An officer stopped a vehicle driven by Barabin on South Florida Avenue at around 2:03 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20. The officer noticed a powdery substance on Barabin’s jacket that appeared to be drugs. Shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, officers were called to a home in the 8900 block of Hanson Grove Court in Manassas to conduct a welfare check, where they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds in the basement area of the residence.
