NJ Mom Killed By Falling Tree While Camping With Family In Furious Upstate NY Storm
A New Jersey woman was killed in upstate New York over the weekend when a tree fell on her camper during fierce thunderstorms that ripped through the region, authorities said. At about 10:50 a.m. the Delaware County 911 Center received multiple reports of trees down on campers at multiple locations with an individual trapped at the Russell Brook Campground in the Town of Colchester. A 6-year-old boy died after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool at a South Jersey summer camp, authorities said. The incident happened Monday, June 24 at about 2 p.m. while the child was at Liberty Lake Day Camp at 1195 Florence Columbus Road, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Dive Teams Pull Victim From NJ Pond In 2nd Possible Drowning In 12 Hours
Less than 12 hours after responding to a drowning a Crystal Lake, dive teams and emergency responders from across Ocean County were called to a similar incident. This time, in one of the ponds off of Whitesbog Road in Manchester Township, responders said. Woman Clinging To Tree, Her Dog Rescued After Falling In Ocean County
Firefighters rescued a woman who was clinging to a tree after she and her dog fell in Brick Township, officials said. Herbertsville firefighters responded to the scene on Winding River Road at around 6:44 p.m. on Monday, June 17, the fire company said in a Facebook post. Crews found the woman and her dog fell 10 to 15 feet down an embankment. The woman was hanging onto a tree to prevent falling any further. Woman, 57, Killed In Trenton Crash
A 57-year-old woman was killed and three others were hurt in a crash in Trenton, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 8 near the intersection of East State and South Broad streets, according to Trenton police. The victim's name had not been released. A South Brunswick family is safe after escaping a fire that destroyed their home. South Brunswick police responded at 7:45 p.m. Saturday to a report of a home on fire at 4 Beryl Court in the Kendall Park section of the Township. A 21-year-old woman was shot at a large party Friday night, June 7 in Highland Park, authorities said. Police were dispatched to the 200 block of South 7th Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. after getting a call about a disturbance. They found the woman shot three times, Highland Park police said.
