Woman Fatally Struck By Vehicle In North Plainfield: Police A woman was killed after she was struck by a vehicle in North Plainfield on the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 4, authorities said. At 9:06 p.m., officers responded to a report of a woman struck by a vehicle while crossing Norwood Avenue near Manning Avenue, North Plainfield police said. The driver of the vehicle, which was heading northbound on Norwood Avenue before striking the victim, remained at the scene, police said.  The victim, a North Plainfield resident, was transported to RWJ New Brunswick Hospital by first responders where she was pronounced dead on Thursday, Sept. 5. Jersey Shore Motorcyclist Killed In Late Night Crash, State Police Say A Lanoka Harbor man died when his motorcycle crashed late at night in Burlington County, authorities said. Andrew Uveges, 31, was killed in the wreck on County Route 542 in Washington Township on Sunday, Aug. 25, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene near milepost 14.8 at around 9:58 p.m. Investigators said Uveges was riding west on a Harley-Davidson when his motorcycle went off the road to the right and overturned.  Uveges was ejected from the motorcycle and hit a tree. David Wynn, 68, died in the wreck on I-287 South on Thursday, Aug. 15, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the crash near milepost 8.8 at around 8:24 p.m. Investigators said Wynn was driving a Chevrolet vehicle when he crashed into the back of a trailer hauled by a Chevrolet pickup. 2 Vehicles Hit, Kill Pedestrian On Garden State Parkway Ramp, Police Say A 46-year-old pedestrian trying to cross an exit ramp off the Garden State Parkway was killed by passing cars over the weekend. Mohammed Uddin was crossing the Exit 123 ramp in Sayreville around 9:45 p.m. Friday, May 31, when he was struck by a Dodge SUV and Buick SUV, heading south near milepost 124.6, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Uddin, of Old Bridge, was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.

Police responding to reports of a crash on Easton Avenue near DeMott Lane in Franklin Township found a crashed motorcycle around 12:15 a.m. Saturday, June 1, Franklin Township Police Lt. Vincent T.
