Flags Set Ablaze In Franklin Township: Police Police in Franklin Township are investigating after flags were lit on fire on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 7, authorities said. At 8:23 a.m., officers responded to a property on DeMott Lane and found two custom flags, along with the mounting hardware, damaged by fire, Franklin Township police said in a release. There were no reported injuries as a result of the fire, police said.
