Gotti Grandson Sentencing Delayed For Kidney Donation — Again
John Gotti’s grandson had his prison sentence delayed again Friday, July 17, so he can donate a kidney to his mother.
Carmine G. Agnello, 40, will be allowed to report to federal prison on Sept. 18 as long as the surgery proceeds as scheduled on Aug. 3, Newsday reported.
Agnello, of Oyster Bay, has battled sentencing in the case for months, though he pleaded guilty to fraud back in September 2024 and got 15 months behind bars. He first claimed he had to donate the kidney to his mother, Victoria Gotti, back in March, but the surgery never happened.

After three members of a New Jersey family were killed in a plane crash in the mountains of New York, their friends, family, and community have started an online fundraiser.
Gabriele Jasper, 70; Gabriella Hillgrube, 33; and Giuliana Hillgrube, 2, were killed in the wreck. Gabriella and her husband, Tyler, were the parents of Giuliana and a 4-year-old son, GJ. Jasper was Gabriella’s father.

A New Jersey truck driver was killed after he was thrown from his commercial vehicle and trapped beneath it during a crash in Pennsylvania, State Police said.
The crash happened at approximately 12:13 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, along the 4500 block of Chestnut Street north of Beck Road in Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, according to Pennsylvania State Police and the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.

Dateline NBC will be airing a one-hour episode titled "Slow Burn" about the 2018 murder of the Caneiro family in Colts Neck on Friday, July 17 at 10 p.m.
Paul Caneiro, an Ocean Township resident, was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences after being convicted of murdering his brother, his sister-in-law and their two children in their Colts Neck home.
In levying the sentence, Judge Marc Lemieux called Caneiro, a "callous, heartless, brutal killer."

Man Stole ATV, Fled From Cops: Lakewood PD
A 20-year-old Lakewood man was arrested and charged after he stole an ATV and fled from police, authorities announced Thursday, July 16.
At 9:50 p.m., on Monday, July 13, officers responded to Prospect Street after the owner of a previously stolen dirt bike and ATV located the vehicles, Lakewood police said.
