Long Island Man Broke Into Jersey Shore Home's Garage, Cut Security Camera Wires: Police A Long Island man was accused of breaking into a Manasquan home and cutting outdoor security camera wires, authorities said. Thomas Gilmartin of Port Washington, New York, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 5, the Manasquan Borough Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to a report of someone who broke into the garage of a home on Perrine Boulevard at around 8:02 p.m. Police said the home's back door was kicked in and exterior security camera wires were cut. Smile, You're On Body Camera: TJ Maxx To Equip Employees To Fight Shoplifting To fight the recent rise in shoplifting and retail theft, shoppers could see store security employees wearing body-worn cameras to help catch thieves red-handed.  TJX, the parent company of TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Serria, HomeSense, and HomeGoods, said will begin equipping some employees with body-worn cameras similar to those worn by police, the Boston Globe reported.
