Serious Crash Reported On Route 34 Central Jersey: Developing Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called to a serious crash in Central Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred about noon on Route 34 in Colts Neck, initial reports said. An unconfirmed report said that multiple ambulances were called for the injured people at the crash scene. Armed Bank Robber In Central Jersey Carried Clipboard Police were called to an armed bank robbery in Monmouth County. The robbery was reported about 3 p.m. at the Colts Neck branch of Manasquan Bank at 330 Route 34, according to initial reports.   The robbery suspect was wearing all black except for a red face mask, reports said.  He was armed with a handgun. He was described as in his 30s and about 6 feet tall. He also was carrying a clip board and got away with more than $600 in cash, according to an unformed report. Staten Island Driver, 43, Killed In Central Jersey Route 9 Collision UPDATED: A 43-year-old man from New York City was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer on Route 9 in Monmouth County, authorities said. James Marshall of Staten Island was southbound near the intersection with Schulmeister Road at about 1:45 a.m. on Thursday when his vehicle rear-ended a tractor-trailer, according to Old Bridge police. The truck driver from Perth Amboy, also 43, had no serious injuries, police said. His name was not released.
