A 17-year-old juvenile from Seaside Heights has been charged with stealing a vehicle in Jackson Township, authorities said. The boy was charged with Theft of Moveable Property, Eluding, Obstruction, and Resisting Arrest by Means of Flight, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Teens Sentenced In Arson Fire Along Garden State Parkway: Prosecutor
Two juveniles from Brick Township have been sentenced in connection with an arson fire along the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. Both I.J. and A.R. were sentenced to 60 days in the Ocean County Juvenile Detention Center as a condition of three years probation. A pair of teenagers missing from a group home was arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle, authorities said. The youths also were suspects in vehicle break-ins in Jackson Township, police said. An 18-year-old man from the Jersey Shore has been sentenced to probation in connection with a shooting, authorities said. Michael Jedziniak of Seaside Park was sentenced to a four-year suspended sentence on Monday, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Two teenagers were arrested in Brick on multiple weapons and drug charges, authorities said. An officer stopped a car leaving a construction zone at Law-Win Court when he smelled burnt marijuana, Brick police said in a statement.
