A 26-year-old man from Lakewood has admitted to fatally shooting another man in 2021, authorities said.
Jahvontae Debose, 26, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Tuesday, March 28, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
Debose was convicted in the death of Dajour Randolph in Lakewood, Billhimer said. Debose also admitted to drug dealing and weapons offenses, he said.

Three Jersey Shore residents have been charged in a major cocaine-dealing operation, authorities said.
The cocaine was smuggled in children's toy boxes, they said.
A cooperative, multi-agency investigation identified four residences in Toms River as being used by Christian Bultron-Rios, 37, Christian Bultron-Carmona, 18, and Anfernee Guzman-Romero, 26, all of Toms River, to store and distribute cocaine, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. A tip from a U.S. Customs agent led to a major bust in Ocean County.
At approximately 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11, detectives from the Brick Street Crimes Unit, along with detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, agents from the U.S. Postal Service, and agents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security made a warranted search at the Mantoloking Road home of Lucian Demarco, 37, Brick police said.
