A crew member was seriously injured while battling a fire that destroyed a multimillion-dollar home on the waterfront of Long Beach Island, officials said. Fire Destroys New Apartment Building On Jersey Shore: Police
An overnight fire destroyed a new three-story apartment building on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. On Tuesday March 29, at 12:21 am, multiple officers responded to the area of North New Prospect and Larsen Roads after a passerby reported that a building was on fire. Jersey Shore Wildland Arson Investigation 'At An Impasse,' Prosecutor Says
Authorities from the Jersey Shore say they have been unable to identify those responsible for setting a suspicious wildfire last month. The fire consumed 167 acres of land in Brick and Lakewood in March, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. A business was destroyed and hundreds of area residents had to be evacuated, Billhimer said.
