Crash With Injuries Reported On NJ Turnpike
A crash with injuries occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 12:50 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12 outside entry Interchange 10 near Interstate 287 in Edison, according to the New Jersey Department of Transporation. A vehicle was reported off the roadway in a New Jersey Turnpike crash, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25 NJ on the outer roadway northbound at the Molly Pitcher Service Area in Cranbury Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation website. Tolls On Garden State Parkway, NJ Turnpike Rising For 3rd Consecutive Year
Tolls will increase on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway for a third consecutive year. The 3 percent toll hikes were originally approved in 2020. The latest hike was adopted on Tuesday, Oct. 25 as part of the 2023 budget, according to New Jersey Turnpike Authority spokesman Thomas Feeney. The $2.5 billion 2023 Turnpike Authority budget increased by 7.4% over 2022. Tractor-Trailer Fire Delays Traffic On New Jersey Turnpike
A tractor-trailer fire delayed traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cherry Hill, authorities said. Southbound lanes remained closed as of 9:25 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21. The crash occurred near Exit 4 at about 7:30 a.m., according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s traffic website. There were injuries, 511nj.org said. A medevac helicopter was en route, according to an unconfirmed report. Video from 6ABC Action News showed the charred front of a truck and multiple emergency vehicles. Four people were hospitalized with serious injuries in two crashes on the New Jersey Turnpike just hours apart on Thursday, Oct. 6, first responders said. Robbinsville and Bordentown Township firefighters responded to the first crash near milepost 59.2 south of exit 7A and found that a person had a severe head injury after a truck had overturned in the outer lanes around 9:20 a.m., the Robbinsville Fire Department said. VA Passenger Dies In NJ Turnpike Crash: Police
A 26-year-old woman from Virginia died in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike on Sunday, Sept. 18, authorities said. Kayla Rodriguez was riding in a Ford Explorer traveling southbound near milepost 18.5 in West Deptford when the SUV failed to stay in its lane, left the road, and struck a guardrail around 3:50 a.m., NJ State Police said. The Falls Church woman was pronounced dead after the crash. The status of the driver's injuries was not immediately provided by the police. The investigation remains ongoing.

A motorcyclist had his arm amputated following a horrific crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, responders said. Construction on the New Jersey-bound side of the Delaware Memorial Bridge has temporarily closed two northbound lanes of traffic, authorities said. Highway crews started work to replace the bridge deck and expansion joints on Thursday, Sept. 15 as part of a $71 million project.
