About two dozen different fire companies were called out to battle a major warehouse fire that raged for five hours over the weekend. Some of the same firefighters were called on to battle a fire that destroyed a home Sunday in Marlboro, police said. Police officers on the Jersey Shore are credited with saving the life of a baby who stopped breathing. Marlboro Township police received a 9-1-1 phone call on Saturday night Feb. 19 from a resident on Amagansett Drive who stated their 2-month-old baby was not breathing. Firefighters Douse Jersey Shore House Fire
Firefighters quickly extinguished a blaze at a Central Jersey home, authorities said. The fire broke out at 11:11 p.m. Tuesday at 4 Sarah Court, according to Marlboro Township police. The fire was contained to the home's garage, and is suspected to be electrical in origin, police said. All of the family members were safely out of the residence when police arrived. Pedestrian Struck Crossing Route 9 In Marlboro
A pedestrian was struck by a car on Sunday night as he crossed Route 9 in Monmouth County, authorities said. Nathanial Martinez was crossing the highway about 9:10 p.m. when he was struck in a northbound lane near Willow Lane, according to Marlboro Township police. Martinez was struck by a Kia Seltos driven by Lauren Wlodarski, 26, of Rockaway, police said. Dogs Missing, Police Officer Hurt From Monmouth House Fire
Two dogs remain missing from a home that suffered a serious fire on Thursday, authorities said. Police and fire officials have been unable to locate the family dogs -- either dead or alive. At 11:05 a.m., Marlboro Township Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from the homeowner at 33 Regina Road in the Morganville section of Marlboro, according to Capt. Stephen J.
