James Cadigan Sentenced
A former police officer in Monmouth County will spend several years in prison after he admitted to stealing more than $100,000 in charitable donations, authorities said. James Cadigan, 42, was sentenced on Wednesday, Mar. 20 to five years in state prison, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release. He was accused of taking more than $115,000 from several organizations. Cadigan was a sergeant for the Wall Township Police Department.
