3-Year-Old Child Fatally Shoots Self In Trenton: Prosecutor A three-year-old child accidentally shot themself to death in Trenton, authorities said. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force responded to Princeton Avenue  on a report of a child suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a county prosecutor. The child has been pronounced dead by Capital Health Hospital. The firearm was recovered. The investigation is ongoing.

Suspect Arrested In Fatal Trenton Hit-Run Pedestrian Crash, Authorities Say An unidentified motorist has been arrested in a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Mercer County, authorities said. Trenton police officers responded to North Clinton and Roebling avenues late Saturday on a report of a pedestrian struck, a police department spokeswoman said. Police found an unidentified Hispanic man  lying on the ground with serious injuries, police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. Trenton Man Arrested For Lying About Fatal Shooting, Police Say A 23-year-old man from Trenton has been arrested for lying to police in connection with a fatal shooting, authorities said. Xzavier Williams was arrested at his Trenton residence on Tuesday by Homicide Task Force members, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. He was released on a summons pending future court proceedings. Trenton Men Charged With Murder In Deli Shooting Two men wanted in a fatal shooting last month at a Trenton deli were arrested and charged with first-degree murder, prosecutors said. Joseph Kaite, 19, and Tabika Hale, 25 -- both of Trenton -- were seen on surveillance footage entering a deli on the 200 block of Spring Street armed with handguns on Oct. 5 around 3:40 p.m. Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J.
