Four-Alarm Monmouth House Fire Prompts NJ Forest Service 'Air Drop,' Police Car Collision A four-alarm house fire in Monmouth County Thursday afternoon spread to other structures due to dry brush, authorities said. Heavy fire was reported at a home at 17 Nicholas Court in Upper Freehold. The roof of the home had collapsed.  All fire companies in the region responded.  Neighbors who rushed to help said two dogs may have been lost in the fire. No other casualties were reported.  By 2 p.m., an air tanker from the New Jersey Forest Fire Service dropped water to help douse the spread of flames, initial reports said. Two Teens Stabbed In Freehold Park: Sea Bright Man, Marlboro Juvenile Charged Two teens were stabbed and two others charged following a knife fight in a popular Freehold park, authorities said. Responding officers found the bleeding victims in the Durand Park parking lot shortly after 3:30 p.m. Friday, township police said in a statement. Paramedics tended to them while police grabbed Russell Derector Jr., 19, of Sea Bright and a 17-year-old juvenile. They charged Derector with possession of a weapon, assault and harassment and signed delinquency complaints against the younger teen for weapons possession and making terroristic threats.
