A Camden County man has been arrested with a huge cache of explosives and illegal fireworks, authorities said.
For several months, residents on Fleming Pike complained of loud explosions in the Hammonton section of Winslow Township, police said.
Kenneth Baldino, 71, of Hay Road, Winslow Township, was charged after a search of his home and a business, township police said on Monday, July 1. Charges include risking widespread injury, possession of destructive devices and possession of high-capacity magazines, police said.

An Atlantic County man was charged after police found him with explosives, guns, and a large amount of prescription pills, authorities said.
Michael James, 30, of Somers Point, was ordered on Friday, Mar. 8 to be detailed in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on several gun and drug charges, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. He was arrested at his home on Colwick Drive on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

A South Jersey man charged with setting off a bomb outside a nearby gym last month had a "substantial" amount of bomb-making materials along with instructions, body-armored tactical vests and more, federal authorities said Friday.
Surveillance video shows Dwayne A. Vandergrift Jr., 35, placing an explosive device on the front door of GCity Crossfit Gym near his home in Gloucester City and running away around 4 a.m. Aug. 26, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.

Authorities: Springfield Man, 57, Made Assault Rifle, Possessed Explosives
A 57-year-old man from Springfield Township has been charged with illegally manufacturing an assault weapon and possessing high-capacity ammunition magazines, silencers and explosive devices, authorities said.
Thomas Locker manufactured the main components of an AR-15 assault rifle in his home in Springfield, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said in a statement.
