Motorcyclist Killed, Passenger Seriously Hurt In Jersey Shore Crash A 40-year-old motorcyclist from Central Jersey was killed and his passenger seriously hurt in a three-vehicle collision, authorities said.  The collision occurred on a rural road in Marlboro Township at about 3 p.m. on Saturday. Woman Killed In Route 9 Crash On Jersey Shore: Prosecutor A woman was killed in a crash along Route 9 in Marlboro Township, authorities said. On Sun. Feb. 13 at 2:22 a.m., a 2019 Cadillac XT5 traveling southbound on Route 9, collided with a 2018 Nissan Altima at the intersection on the southbound side of Route 9 and Route 520, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. The Altima then proceeded to strike a nearby telephone pole, Linskey said. The driver of the Altima was taken to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at 3:04 a.m., the prosecutor said. The victim's name o…

Police ID Motorcyclist, 34, Killed In Crash With Teen Driver Authorities have identified the 34-year-old motorcyclist killed in a Marlboro crash with a teenage driver. Neal Haynes was on Tennent Road when his motorcycle collided with a car between Greenwood and Wooleytown roads around 4:05 p.m. Sunday, Marlboro police said. Haynes taken by ambulance to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune and later pronounced dead. Police have not released the name of the motorcyclist pending family notification. A 17-year-old driving the car was not injured. He was not charged and the crash remains under investigation. Haynes was remembered in a …
