A 15-year-old was arrested on the early morning of Saturday, Oct. 5, after firing gunshots in New Brunswick and shooting someone back in August, authorities said.

A 50-year-old Jersey Shore man was charged with multiple drug and weapons offenses after a police raid on his home, authorities said.
On Monday, Nov. 28, just after 6 a.m., the Brick Township Police Department made a warranted search on a residence in the Maple Leaf Condominium Complex.
The warrant was the result of a drug investigation by the Street Crimes Unit and yielded an illegally possessed .40 caliber handgun, two high capacity magazines, ammunition, and over 100 grams of cocaine, Brick police said.

A man from Monmouth County has admitted to selling a fatal dose of heroin to a 25-year-old woman from Morris County, killing her, authorities said.
Lateef Reevey, 31, of Long Branch, pleaded guilty on Thursday to first-degree strict liability for drug-induced death, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
The charges stem from an overdose death that took place last February in Tinton Falls, Gramiccioni said.

Two New York men and another from Pennsylvania were arrested on various charges after one tried filling a fake prescription for cough syrup at a Howell pharmacy, authorities said.
The incident began about 12:15 p.m. Sunday when police were called to Future Pharmacy in the Pointe O'Woods Center on Route 9 in Howell, on reports of someone trying to fill a prescription-grade cough syrup, police said.
