South Jersey Gas Station Sold Contaminated Fuel, Stranding Drivers: Officials
Heavy rainfall is to blame for contaminated gasoline that stranded motorists in Camden, city officials said. The Conoco gas station at 1901 Admiral Wilson Boulevard was ordered to close on Sunday, March 10 after receiving complaints about possible fuel contamination, the city said. A driver was dragged from her SUV by two carjackers -- one 17, the other 13 -- who were both nabbed by Paterson police after the stolen vehicle caused a chain-reaction crash in Clifton, authorities said.
