Monmouth Mall To Open First New Store Amid $500M Redevelopment The first store at a revamped Monmouth Mall is about to open, officials said. The new Barnes & Noble location in Eatontown will open on Wednesday, Nov. 20, the bookstore chain said in a news release. The previous store closed about two weeks before the new location's opening. See New Walkway That's Making This NJ Town More Pedestrian Friendly Montgomery is about to get a little more pedestrian friendly. The township will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new pedestrian pathway on Skillman Road on Wednesday, Oct. 16.  The half-mile pedestrian pathway connects Otto Kaufman Community Center, Montgomery High School and other neighboring areas.
