Monmouth Mall To Open First New Store Amid $500M Redevelopment The first store at a revamped Monmouth Mall is about to open, officials said. The new Barnes & Noble location in Eatontown will open on Wednesday, Nov. 20, the bookstore chain said in a news release. The previous store closed about two weeks before the new location's opening. See New Walkway That's Making This NJ Town More Pedestrian Friendly Montgomery is about to get a little more pedestrian friendly. The township will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new pedestrian pathway on Skillman Road on Wednesday, Oct. 16.  The half-mile pedestrian pathway connects Otto Kaufman Community Center, Montgomery High School and other neighboring areas. The smokestack in Great Egg Harbor Bay in Beesleys Point is set to implode at 10 a.m. Residents can watch on a Facebook Live here provided by OffShoreDrones. The facility is clearly visible from the Garden State Parkway bridge between Atlantic and Cape May counties.
