Plane That Went Missing With 10 Onboard Found With No Survivors In Alaska
A plane with 10 people on board that went missing after taking off in Alaska has been found with no survivors. The commuter aircraft, which disappeared Thursday, Feb. 6, was found about 35 miles south of Nome, Alaska on Friday, Feb. 7, according to the US Coast Guard. The Cessna had taken off from Unalakleet, Alaska. Three of those onboard were found after the plane was recovered. Pilot Crash Lands At Princeton Airport
A pilot attempting to land at Princeton Airport struck a tree due to gusty winds early on Wednesday, August 9, police said. Montgomery Police responded to the airport just before 9 a.m. for the reported crash and found a single-engine Cessna disabled on Airpark Road, near the entrance. The pilot was attempting to land when a gust of wind blew the plane off its course. The pilot then tried to gain altitude and struck a tree on the south side of Airpark Road, police said. Police: Bergen Wingman Who Thought He Bought Plane Scammed Out Of $10,000
A Bergen County man who thought he’d put a down payment on a Cessna got taken for $10,000 by a scam artist who told him the aircraft had crashed, authorities said. The Glen Rock victim told borough police he thought he had an agreement to purchase a 2004 Cessna 182T for $200,000 through a website called planecheck.com, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. As part of the deal, he told police, he sent the purported seller a $10,000 non-refundable deposit.
