Beach In Cape May Reopens After Man Found Dead, Authorities Say (Update) A beach in Cape May was shut down after a man was found dead, authorities said. Cape May police found the roughly 50-year-old man's body early in the morning on Monday, Aug. 26, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland said in a news release. His body was discovered on Cove Beach near the end of Beach Drive. The man's death wasn't considered suspicious. "There is no threat to the public and the preliminary investigation has revealed no foul play is involved," Sutherland said. Queen May posted surveillance video on Instagram showing two people breaking through a glass front door at around 2:59 a.m. on Sunday, May 5. The Washington Street store said a rare Louis Vuitton trunk with the name Jenny Hecht written on the side was among the stolen items. Woman Hit Child With Skee-Ball At Jersey Shore Arcade: Police Cape May police seek the public's help in identifying the woman in the white dress. She was involved in a disagreement with another patron of the arcade.  As a result, she threw a skee ball striking a child in the back of the head, police said.
