An Ocean County man was accused of several "smash-and-grab" burglaries along the Jersey Shore, authorities said. Todd Lansing, 46, of Brick Township, was charged with two counts each of third-degree burglary, third-degree theft, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and possession of burglary tools. The Brielle Police Department announced his charges in a news release on Thursday, Mar. 28. A Brielle police officer is accused of illegally using police databases to look up people he knew, authorities said. Brian Dreher, 37, of Brick Township, is charged with third-degree computer theft, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced on Friday, Jan. 12. A Florida man has admitted to falsely portraying himself as a modeling agent in order to manipulate a minor into sending him sexually explicit images and videos of herself, authorities said. Joseph Germain, 31, of Casselberry, Florida, pleaded guilty to first-degree manufacturing child sexual abuse materials and second-degree distribution of child sexual abuse materials, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. Prosecutor: Manasquan Physical Therapist Groped Employees
A Manasquan therapist groped two former employees while pretending he was teaching them, said authorities who suspect there may be other alleged victims. Investigators charged Lukas I. DeLorenzo, 35, of Neptune Township with inappropriate sexual contact, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said.
