A 58-year-old man from Trenton has been convicted in a jury trial of robbing a Bordentown City bank of nearly $7,000, authorities said. George T. Rodgers was found guilty on Tuesday, March 29 of one count of second-degree robbery, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said. Superior Court Judge Gerard H. A 36-year-old volunteer firefighter from South Jersey has been arrested on child porn charges, authorities said. Jay J. Howe of Bordentown Township was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Bordentown Township Police Chief Brian Pesce. Authorities: Burlington County Man, 34, Admits Trying To Kill Girlfriend
A 34-year-old man from Burlington County has admitted to trying to kill his girlfriend four years ago, authorities said. Akil Herbert of Florence Township pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted murder, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said. Under Herbert's guilty plea, he agreed to serve 12 years in state prison, Coffina said. Herbert was additionally charged with violating a restraining order, Coffina said. A former yacht company employee is accused of "industrial espionage" for stealing business records, authorities said. Cameron O’Connell, 27, of Prince Street in Bordentown City was charged with stealing proprietary intellectual property, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and New Jersey State Police Commander Patrick J.
