Serious Rush-Hour Crash Reported on I-195 In Central Jersey

Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called to a serious crash on Interstate 196 in Monmouth County, authorities said.

The one-car crash was reported shortly before 4 p.m. at mile-marker 11 on I-195 westbound in Upper Freehold, initial reports said.

The crash victim was being taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, according to an unconfirmed report.
