The Edison woman was seriously injured after she was struck by a speeding car at a crosswalk on Saturday, Dec. 23. Kamath sustained a skull fracture, spinal fracture, internal bleeding, pelvic fracture, multiple collar bone fractures and other severe internal injuries and was unconscious for five days.
