At 3 p.m., Ocean Township police and Waretown Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Route 9 and found a 71-year-old woman dead in a first-floor bedroom in the northwest corner of the structure, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer and Ocean Township Police Chief Michal Rogalski The woman has not been identified.
