Multiple children and one adult were left stranded at least 25 feet above the ground after a ride malfunctioned at Adventureland in Farmingdale, prompting a large rescue operation Friday, June 19, responders said. Woman Rescued From Water After Running Away From Group Home: Oceanport PD
A woman was rescued from a creek after she fled from a special-needs group home in Oceanport on Thursday, June 4, authorities said. Officers responded to Gosselin Avenue after an adult woman left the group home and found her swimming in a creek nearby, Oceanport police said. Officers repeatedly instructed her to exit the water; however, she ignored all verbal commands and continued swimming downstream, police said. NJ Man Airlifted After Tree Falls On Him While Operating Tractor: Montgomery PD
A 76-year-old man was hospitalized after a tree fell on him on Wednesday, Aug. 27, authorities said. At 4:26 p.m., the man was operating a tractor in a wooded area at Hollow Road near Servis Road when a tree fell on him, pinning him to the tractor, Montgomery police said. The Montgomery police side-by-side utility vehicle was utilized to assist transporting rescue workers to the patient, and transport the patient out of the woods, law enforcement said. The man was airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, police said.
