NY State Police Sergeant Killed In Motorcycle Crash Crash A longtime New York State Police sergeant was killed in a motorcycle crash on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County, police said.  The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, near mile marker 36.1 southbound in East Fishkill, according to New York State Police. Investigators said a 2025 Ducati motorcycle was heading south when its rider lost control. The rider, identified as Sergeant Nigel K. Teen Electrocuted, Killed Trying To Fix Faulty Heater At Jewish Bath House In Catskills: Source A 17-year-old boy from Monsey died after being electrocuted while trying to repair a faulty heater at a mikvah, a ritualistic Jewish bathhouse, in Upstate New York, Daily Voice has learned. As first reported by Yeshiva World News, the teen was at a camp in Kerhonkson on Aug. 20 when the incident occurred.  Catskills Hatzalah paramedics found him in cardiac arrest, revived him, and rushed him to a hospital in Poughkeepsie before transferring him to Westchester Medical Center, the outlet said. The company filed the Chapter 11 petition on Saturday, Nov. 2, in Texas, near its Dallas headquarters. Founded in New York City in 1965, TGI Fridays has 95 restaurants in the US, 39 of which the company owns and operates. The other 56 are independent franchises not involved in the bankruptcy petition.
