Brick Man Fled Scene After Crashing 69 Chevy Camaro: Prosecutor
A 54-year-old Brick Township man was arrested after he crashed a 1969 Chevy Camaro and fled the scene on Wednesday, July 2, authorities said.
At 8 p.m., Brick Township police responded to Schoener Drive and Brick Boulevard and found the Camaro had crashed into a utility pole and Nicholas Lotito, the driver, left the scene on foot, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
Lotito lost control of the Camaro before crashing, Billhimer said. Two passengers in the car also left the scene, with one later checking into a nearby hospital, where he was treated and released, Billhimer said.

Berkeley Man Who Groped Nurse At Rehab Facility Learns Fate: Prosecutor
A 67-year-old Berkeley Township man was sentenced to 120 days in jail on Friday, May 9, after being convicted of criminal sexual contact against a nurse, authorities said.
On Thursday, March 22, 2023, at 6:50 p.m., Berkeley Township police responded to the Crystal Lake Rehabilitation Facility after David Taber touched a nurse’s breast, placed her in a bear hug and attempted to pull down her pants, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said. A co-worker intervened and separated the two, Billhimer said.
Taber was convicted in March following a weeklong jury trial, Billhimer said.

A 51-year-old Jackson man was sentenced to seven years in prison on Friday, April 4 after pleading guilty to various drugs and weapons charges, authorities said.
Shawn Garrettson pleaded guilty in February to the weapons and drug charges, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.

A 29-year-old Seaside Heights woman was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Friday, Jan. 31 after pleading guilty to killing a Toms River man whose body was dismembered, authorities said.
