Driver Dies, Two Injured In Fiery Early Morning Crash On Garden State Parkway: Troopers A driver was killed and two others were hospitalized in a crash on the Garden State Parkway in Tinton Falls, authorities said. Troopers responded to the southbound side of the parkway at around 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, a state police spokesperson said. Investigators said a Honda Accord and Honda Civic crashed head-on near milepost 102.8. A Volkswagen Jetta hit the back of the Civic, causing the Honda to catch fire. Two juveniles, a 16-year-old Newark resident and a 17-year-old Jersey City resident would use stolen Kias, Hondas and Hyundais to look for high-end luxury vehicles like BMWs and Mercedes, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel said. Man With 'Fierce Love' For Family, Motorcycles Died In Central Jersey Crash: Fundraiser Authorities have identified the Freehold man who was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle in Howell Township. Aaron Aponte, 28, died from his injuries in the crash on Tuesday, July 9, a spokesperson for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said. It happened at the intersection of Fort Plains Road and Jerry’s Lane at around 4:53 p.m. Investigators said Aponte was riding a Honda GL 1100L motorcycle north on Fort Plains when he tried to go around a curve in the road.
