Eight people were arrested and thousands of folds of heroin seized in a major narcotics operation in Elizabeth, authorities said.
On Friday, Sept. 12, members of the Union County Prosecutor’s Office Intelligence and Narcotics Division, Elizabeth Police Department Narcotics Unit and Emergency Services Unit, the DEA, Department of Homeland Security, the Union County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit, and Union County SWAT executed multiple search warrants across the city, Union County Prosecutor William A. Tow Trenton residents were arrested and charged with distributing narcotics in Ocean County following a multiagency investigation, authorities announced Monday, Aug. 25.
On Tuesday, Aug. 5, detectives began surveilling Seption Diggs, 30, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said, observing him meeting with Ahmia Tillery, 26, and enter her vehicle as a passenger.

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, Barnegat Township Police responded to a residence and found a woman, who was not identified, dead from a drug overdose, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
