Former Soccer Player, 19, ID'd As Victim Killed By NJ Transit Train
A 19-year-old former soccer player has been identified as the person struck and killed by an NJ Transit train on Tuesday, May 27 in Summit. At 1:28 a.m., Morris and Essex Line train 6907, which departed New York Penn Station and was en route to Dover, struck and fatally injured Dylan Faulkner, NJ Transit said. A native of England, Faulkner moved to Summit at the age of 12, attending middle school and high school there, according to his obituary. New Jersey hospitals are among the safest in the nation, according to the fall 2024 Hospital Safety Grade report from The Leapfrog Group. The Garden State ranks in the top 10 states for the highest percentage of "A" hospitals, joining states like Utah, Virginia, and Connecticut. Big Lots To Shut These New Jersey Stores: Closing Sales Under Way
Big Lots! has announced the closures of even more locations since filing for bankruptcy in September. The company announced on Monday, Sept. 9 that it will sell its assets to an affiliate of private equity firm Nexus Capital Management.
