Two Dozen Vehicles Vandalized In Linden: PD More than two dozen vehicles were vandalized in Linden Monday, April 6, authorities said. Officers responded to the 1300 block of S. Wood Avenue and found 19 vehicles vandalized in an apartment complex, Linden police said. Officers later learned that similar incidents were reported in other areas of the city and in surrounding towns, police said. Detectives believe that a single suspect committed these crimes, largely between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. on Monday, police said. Hit-Run Crash Leaves Pedestrian Critical, Ocean County Prosecutor Says Authorities in Ocean County are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured. The male victim was trying to cross Route 9 at First Street in a marked crosswalk around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, June 16 when he was struck by a white sedan heading north, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D.
