Hearts Break After 16-Year-Old Fatally Shot In New Brunswick: 'Bright, Hardworking Young Man'
Brandon Romero, a 16-year-old New Brunswick boy was fatally shot on the evening of Monday, March 31, according to a fundraiser set up to support his family.
At 6:26 p.m., officers responded to Lee Avenue and Rutgers Street and found Romero with gunshot wounds, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said. He was transported to Robert Wood Hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
