Tragedy On Route 202: Motorcyclist, 36, Killed In Collision With SUV, Authorities Say A 36-year-old motorcyclist from Basking Ridge was killed Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 6 in a crash with an SUV on Route 202 in Somerset County, authorities said. An SUV driven by a 37-year-old woman from Bedminster was making a left turn onto Old York Road from Route 202 South when it collided with the motorcycle near the intersection of Old York Road in Centerville around 3:10 p.m., Somerset County Prosecutor John P. Details Released In Deadly Route 22 Pedestrian Crash In Branchburg (Update) A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 22 Wednesday night, Oct. 30 in Branchburg, police said. The 48-year-old Plainfield man was walking in the middle of the highway when he was struck by a white Ford Econoline van in the westbound lanes just past France Drive around 8:30 p.m., Branchburg Police Capt. Edward Edgar said. 2 Hospitalized By Explosion At Industrial Gas Supply Company In NJ Town Two people were injured after an explosion at an industrial gas company in Branchburg on the early morning of Wednesday, June 5, authorities said. At 4:30 a.m., first responders arrived at 197 Meister Ave. and found smoke visible from the Air Liquide building, Branchburg police said in a release. Two people suffering from chemical burns were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment, police said. Air Liquide is a French industrial gas supplier, its website says.
