Middlesex Man ID'd After Struck, Killed On Route 22 Off-Ramp In Bethlehem: State Police
A 65-year-old man struck and killed on a highway ramp in Hanover Township has been identified, authorities announced on Thursday, Aug. 7.
John A. Pollard Jr. of South Amboy, NJ, was found dead on the Route 22 eastbound off-ramp to Route 512 North just after 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, Pennsylvania State Police said.
He had been hit by a vehicle and died at the scene, the Northampton County Coroner’s Office said in a statement Thursday morning, Aug. 7.
The ramp was closed for three hours and reopened around 9:15 a.m., according to investigators.
