Disgraced Former Sen. Menendez Barred From Holding Public Office In NJ
Former Sen. Robert Menendez, D-NJ, who is imprisoned on federal corruption charges, is barred from ever holding public office in New Jersey, the state announced Friday, Dec. 5.
New Jersey Superior Court Judge Robert Lougy permanently disqualified Menendez from holding office or any position of honor, trust, or profit in state or local government, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said.
If Menendez applies for public office or employment or takes any steps to campaign, run for, or be appointed or elected to public office, he will face a contempt-of-court charge, Platkin said.

PA Teacher, Basketball Coach Sent Nudes To Undercover NJ ‘Girl,’ Hoarded Child Porn: DA
A high school teacher and coach is accused of sending nude photos to who he believed was a 14-year-old girl in New Jersey and hoarding dozens of child pornography images and videos, according to a release issued on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 12:30 p.m.
Manheim Township High School teacher, David Sean Burkhart, 45, of the 700 block of Scott Lane in Warwick Township, was charged with three counts of sexual abuse of children, one count of unlawful contact with a minor, and two counts of criminal use of a communication facility, Manheim Township Police Det. Nicholas Fritz wrote in the affidavit.

$27M Financing Secured For Massive Piscataway Warehouse Along I-287
A 147,620-square-foot warehouse in Central Jersey has secured $27.1 million in bridge financing.
The deal was announced Tuesday, Nov. 18, by according to JLL Capital Markets. JLL said it arranged the financing for Bridge Point Piscataway, a Class A warehouse at 10 Constitution Ave., in Piscataway.
JLL worked on behalf of the borrower, Bridge Industrial, and secured the loan through PPM America, Inc., the firm said.
The facility includes 36-foot clear ceiling heights, 41 dock-high doors, two drive-in doors, 118 car parking spaces, 57 trailer stalls, and 3,000 square feet of office spac…
