At 6:15 a.m., Port Authority police responded to a crash involving three NJ Transit buses at the bus terminal, the agency said. Fourteen people sustained minor injuries, with 13 people being hospitalized, the Port Authoritiy said. According to NJ Transit spokesman Kyalo Mulumba, at approximately 5:31 p.m. on March 5, North Jersey Coast Line train 3363—which departed New York Penn Station at 5:01 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Bay Head at 7:07 p.m.—struck and fatally injured a trespasser at Elizabeth Station.
