Filmmakers are coming to the Jersey Shore to find lead actors for an independent horror movie inspired by a frighteningly popular Halloween attraction. The production staff for "Gravity Hill" posted on Backstage for several roles for actors from the Jackson Township area. Movie Named After NJ Town Casting Paid Roles For Men Ages 18-25
Actors for a new feature film called "Sicklerville" are being sought. The estimated pay is $3,150 for 15 days of shooting and you can apply by clicking here by July 31. The film shoots from Sept. 9 through 27 in New Jersey. This movie is about three young adults in a drug-induced utopia who are shattered when their addictions run deep through a treacherous day. Kristen Hayley Jones of Haddon Township, died suddenly on May 24, according to an obituary published by Jackson Funeral Home. She was 24 years old. Kristen was a 2018 Haddon Township High School graduate and was recently attending classes in acting and creative writing, which she loved, her obituary said. This NJ Health Department Is Paying Teens To Star In Drug, Vaping PSAs
The Ocean County Health Department is casting teenagers for drug and vaping public service announcements. The OCHD is casting a diverse group of teens ages 14 to 18 to act in "substance use" and vaping prevention PSAs, the casting call says. A total of 19 actors are needed for both speaking and background roles, with multiple PSAs to shoot. Casting directors say the shoot will take place during the week so must be able to take off one day of school. The roles pay between $200 and $600 for one day of work. Click here to apply.
