Driver Hospitalized After Striking Trees On Route 287: Njsp A driver was hospitalized after they struck several trees on Route 287 in Morris County on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 17, authorities said. At 4:52 a.m., a Honda Odyessy was traveling northbound on Route 287 in Montville Township when it lost directional control, veered off the right side of the roadway and struck trees, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Manuel Perez, 64, was trying to hook another vehicle to his truck on the southbound side of the highway when he was struck by a Toyota sedan that then struck the tow truck and overturned around 11:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3 at milepost 2-3,  Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Vehicle Overturns In Woods Off Route 80: Njsp A driver was hospitalized after his vehicle overturned on Route 80 in Morris County on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 10, authorities said. The driver of a Nissan Rogue lost control of his vehicle while driving on Route 80 East in Mount Olive Township, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The car veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned into the woods, Marchan said. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said.  The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.
