Swerving Intoxicated Driver Arrested On Route 46: Police A 46-year-old Hackettstown woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 46 on Tuesday, Jan. 28, authorities said. At 11:37 p.m., an officer in Hackettstown noticed a gray Hyundai traveling west on Route 46 driving erratically, failing to maintain its lane, Mount Olive police said. Elizabeth Woman Busted For DWI Attempting To Leave Bar: Mt Olive PD A 37-year-old Elizabeth woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on the early morning of Sunday, Dec. 8, as she attempted to leave a bar in Budd Lake At 1:08 a.m., officers observed a Honda SUV back into a parked vehicle in the parking lot of Lakeview Bar and Grill, Mount Olive police said. The vehicle was stopped as it was attempted to leave the lot and officers made contact with the driver, Fiorella Velarde, police said. Reckless Drunk Driver Struck Parked Car: Mt Olive Police A 45-year-old Budd Lake man was arrested and charged after he struck a parked car while driving drunk on Saturday, Oct. 26, authorities said. At 9:24 pm, officers responded to a parking lot in the Hensyn Village Apartment complex and found a man, later identified as Ross Newman, struck a parked car, exited his vehicle and entered an apartment, Mount Olive police said.  Newman then exited the apartment and walked over to police to speak with them, officers said.
