Two Dead, Box Truck Incinerated In Multi-Vehicle Route 80 Crash, Here's What Happened (Update)
𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A driver and passenger in a box truck were killed and two occupants of a tractor-trailer hospitalized with severe injuries in a fiery multi-vehicle crash on Route 80 in Hackensack, New Jersey State Police confirmed.
The box truck was instantly consumed by flames as firefighters reached Exit 66 shortly after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21.
"It was a cremation," one responder at the scene said.
Ambiorix Torres-Fernandez, 40, of Paterson, passenger Juan Sanchez-Rodriguez, 27, of Garfield, were declared dead at the scene.

A fugitive from Maryland charged with sextorting a New Jersey senior out of $20,000 online after getting him to take compromising selfies was immediately freed by a judge after surrendering to police.
Posing as a woman, Ali H. Maman, 59, of Frederick, MD, communicated with an elderly Glen Rock resident through Instagram and WhatsApp, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said.
The victim was convinced to share the risqué photos, then was contacted by someone else who demanded a $20,000 bank wire transfer in exchange for not posting them online, Ackermann said.

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: Thieves stole and then sold $62,000 worth of parts from vehicles at BMW North America’s corporate headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, police said in announcing the arrest of a suspect.
Joseph Domenico Varano, 21, of Bloomfield and his cohorts hit the parking lot of the campus off Chestnut Ridge Road near the Garden State Parkway on May 4, Woodcliff Lake Police Chief Stephen Regula said.
