Customers Overwhelm Route 46 Bird Store Owner With Love After Crossbow Attack Katarina wasn’t sure what to expect when she unlocked the doors of Birds By Joe 2 on Roue 46 Saddle Brook on Friday, Feb. 21—the first time she’d officially reopened since being shot with a crossbow inside her own store. What she walked into was overwhelming. Customers streamed in, arms full of flowers, gifts, and bags of soft food she could eat.
