Daycare Teacher Gets Jail For Assaulting Toddler: Morris County Prosecutor
A 38-year-old daycare teacher received 90 days in jail on Friday, Jan. 17, after she pleaded guilty to assaulting a toddler in 2024, authorities said. Christina Susco, a Budd Lake resident and teacher at Mount Olive Child Care and Learning Center assaulted the toddler on Monday, March 25, 2024 Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said. She pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said. Susco was sentenced to 90 days in the Morris County Correctional Facility and five years probation, authorities said. Atlantic City High School's principal was indicted after she was accused of covering up parental abuse claims by the daughter of the mayor and school superintendent, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 39-year-old Constance Days-Chapman of Atlantic City on Wednesday, Sept. 11, the Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. A West Orange teacher has been arrested for assaulting an 11-year-old student, authorities said. Jaron Spicer, 32, of Bayonne, has been charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault — a disorderly persons offense — following an incident on April 18, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
