SUV Driver Smelled Like Alcohol In Crash That Hospitalized Three In Central Jersey: Police Three people were hospitalized, including a driver who police claimed smelled like alcohol, after a crash in Monmouth County, authorities said. Wall Township police responded to the crash at around 5:31 p.m. on Friday, July 5, the department said in a news release on Monday, July 8. It happened at the intersection of Route 34 and Hurley Pond Road near Monmouth Jet Center. Investigators said a 25-year-old Farmingdale woman was driving a 2017 Honda CR-V on Route 34 North.
